Cellphone Policy

Safety is everyone’s responsibility.

To confirm our commitment to safety, Hole’s Greenhouses and Gardens Ltd. has joined the Coalition for Cell Phone-Free Driving, a coalition established to encourage people and companies to refrain from using cellphones (hand-held or hands-free) while driving.

Hole’s is dedicated to creating, implementing and maintaining high safety standards—it is a commitment that extends to our staff, to our customers and to our community. At Hole’s, we believe that productivity and safety are not exclusive, which is why we do not support the trend of treating vehicles as office space. Simply put, we believe that safety shouldn’t take a backseat to productivity.

By joining the Coalition for Cell Phone-Free Driving and by enforcing this policy, we hope to:

  • Affirm our corporate commitment to safety
  • Support community initiatives
  • Reduce senseless vehicular accidents and injuries

For us, safety is more than a policy—it’s a way of life.
The Coalition for Cell Phone-Free Driving is a student-led initiative spearheaded by U of A graduate students. For more information, please contact Dr. Louis Francescutti (Director, Alberta Centre for Injury Control & Research) at 780-492-5775.
