What's New
The week of April 19
Opening Day Approaching
Show Garden Opening Day April 26 Non-Stop Begonias
The show garden continues to draw excitment as fall-planted bulbs such as this Crocus chrysanthus 'Cream Beauty' start to bloom. With opening day approaching, the front greenhouse staff is busy making sure everything is perfect for our opening on April 26th. Non-Stop begonias have large, showy flowers for an outstanding display in pots and hanging baskets. They love shade to morning sun.
Double-flowering Plum Martha Washington Geranium Hostas
The exquisite blooms of the Double -flowering plum caught my eye this morning. This shrub is excellent as a feature in borders or as an informal hedge. Very popular during the early1900's, the 'Martha Washington' or 'Regal' ornamental geranium has outstanding, large brightly coloured flowers with ruffled petals. The perennial area is set to open soon and as you can see these hostas are looking incredible.
