What's New
The week of April 28
Bedding Plants and more...
This Fright Night coleus is one of many new introductions for 2003. Another great new feature is the Ultima Baron series with three new varieties including this Ultima Baron Purple. The Easy Wave series is a 2003 newcomer to the 'Wave' family. The trademark spreading habit is more mounding and stays full all season long.
Great selection Great Taste Great Plants
The nursery is now open with a great selection of shrubs, fruit trees and awesome roses. The first fruit are appearing on the tumbler tomatoes: my indication that spring is here! A nice layer of snow covered the newly opened perennial area, but we're still open and the selection is always best early in the season.
Behind the Scenes
By Mail For Mom Tiny
The first of the mail/ecommerce orders are going out. As usual, we start with bulbs and roses are the first of the live plants to ship. The more tender plants will begin shipping in May. These Dark Eyes fuchsias are looking spectacular. There will be a tremendous selection for Mother's Day so don't forget to order something special for Mom! These hyacinthoides are not bothered a bit by the snow, and add some nice colour and contrast in the early spring.
