What's New
The week of February 12
Valentines and More
You can't go wrong with a lovely bouquet, especially at Valentine's These stunning primula in an oversize wine glass are elegant, classy and make a great gift. A bouquet in a bag...what a great idea!
Spring Bulbs
The first of the bulbs are in, like these huge Alocasia (Elephant ears). There is also a small selection of cannas and callas for those who like an early start. We are also starting to feature some original art like this painting by artist Samantha Williams.
This week the garden centre is full of great new items for decorating your home or garden. The waxwings spent the afternoon in the trees outside my window...I'm hoping it's a sign of spring! With Valentine's around the corner, the staff is working extra hard to make sure there is a great selection of flowers to choose from.
The mandevillas are now being potted up and trellises installed. The first of the seeds (Mucho Nacho peppers!) have germinated and will be ready for transplanting soon. We have over 20,000 geranium cuttings in so far and waiting for another 30,000 later this week.
