What's New
The week of July 23
Daylilies, sedum, ligularia and more...
Daylily 'Spellbinder' Daylily 'Langley Fanfare' Daylily 'Going Bananas'
All our daylilies are on sale this week. Here are a few of my favorites. I love Spellbinder's fragrant bright gold flowers. A gorgeous daylily. Langley Fanfare has cherry pink flowers with a white rib. Going bananas has beautiful canary-yellow flowers. There are so many more to choose from I wish I could put them all up on our website.
Sedum 'Bon Bon' Ligularia dentata 'Desdemona' Coreopsis 'Moonbeam'
Perfect for hot and dry areas, "Bon Bon' has pink flowers and interesting burgundy-chocolate foliage. To keep the foliage dark, do not over fertilize. Want a tropical look to your garden? Try this ligularia with its clustered, daisy-like, orange-yellow flowers and purple foliage. From the Greek koris (bug) and opsis (like), 'Moonbeam' has icy-yellow flowers that bloom in summer.
Campanula 'Purple Pixie' Cranberry Cotoneaster Hydrangea 'White Moth'
One of the best-coloured bellflowers with its large clusters of bell-shaped, violet-purple flowers and coarse, heart-shaped foliage. Excellent as a cutflower. Great in small shrub beds or as a foundation planting. In spring it sports pinky-white blooms giving way to bright-red fruit later in the season. It's creamy-white blooms are extremely showy-prefers dappled light during the hottest part of the day. Prune to 2 buds per stem for best form & blooms.
