Behind the Scenes
Epimedium Primula Easter Daisy
Beacause it tolerates poor soil and dry sites, Epimedium 'Elfin Magic' makes a delightful groundcover for difficult areas. Primula 'Christine' belongs to a very important group of perennials, long found in gardens, at least as far back as 1597. They flower from early spring to mid summer. Townsendia rothrockii or Lavender Easter Daisy are valued for their stemless or near stemless, aster-like flowers. The flowers on some species are so large that they hide the entire plant.
