more new plants for 2006
Hemerocallis 'Flaming Poppa' Passion Vine 'Lavender Lady' Calibrachoa 'Cabaret Rose'
This gorgeous new daylily has red flowers with a gold edge. Blooms mid to late-season. Excellent in patio pots with supporting trellis or obelisk giving an exotic look to any planter. Small, vibrant, petunia-like, cherry-red flowers with a yellow throat. Great in hanging baskets, or as an annual groundcover.
Lavatera 'Silver Cup' Hemerocallis 'Breathless Beauty' Canna Lily 'Picasso'
A knock-out! Profusion of large, satiny, cup-shaped flowers on bushy plants. An excellent cutflower and very impressive in the garden. Loves full sun. Breathless Beauty has purple-red flowers that bloom in mid-season. Daylilies love moist, fertile, well-drained soil. Picasso has bold textured foliage & brightly coloured flowers which will add a tropical look to any landscape.
Larch 'Lanark' Lilium 'Jacqueline' Pepper 'Super Heavyweight'
This larch variety has blue green foliage with bright yellow stems on a mounding form. It's really great for small landscapes or rock gardens. A wonderful addition to any perennial bed; excellent cut flower & very hardy. Jacqueline sports orange-red flowers with yellow centres. The most gigantic pepper you can grow. Produces thick-walled peppers and is high in flavour. Outstanding stuffing pepper or just eating raw. Matures green to gold.
Millet 'Purple Baron' Diascia 'White' Paeonia 'Chippewa'
Tired of Dracaena in your containers? Try this impressive ornamental grass for something different. Also makes great accents in garden beds. A charmer! Perfect for pots & hanging baskets. Plants are completely covered in flowers right into the fall. Peonies are slow growing but long-lived perennials. Chippewa has double, red flowers that bloom in spring.
