What's New
The week of November 27
A Great Start to the Winter Season
Winter Scents Displays
Winter is well and truly here, and the fresh snow is certainly putting everyone into the Christmas frame of mind. The scent of fresh greens is one of the best parts of the holiday season... ...but the displays that are possible with the fresh greens are even more impressive.
Indoor Plants
Heather Christmas Indoors Rosemary
The indoor plant department has all the usual Christmas plants and more like this lively arrangement featuring heather. Every year the staff out do themselves making an impressive display of all the poinsettias in the indoor plant glass house. Speaking of scents I love the idea of these lovely mini rosemary "Xmas Trees"!
Behind the Scenes
Moving over 45,000 Poinsettias
To move 10s of thousands of poinsettias in under 4 weeks takes an incredible amount of organization Each plant needs to be packed in sleeves to protect them and have care instructions attached before being loaded on trucks. As you can see, even this early in the season, huge holes are appearing in the greenhouses.
