What's New
The week of October 13
Jerusalem Cherry Fragrant Persian Violets
Though inedible, the Jerusalem Cherry makes an interesting addition to your house during the fall. Nothing beats the sweet fragrance and creamy-white flowers of the gardenia. The Persian Violet will bloom under florescent lights making it a great winter season indoor plant.
Pumpkin Patch Shape and Form Exotic
Make sure to visit our pumpkin patch and enter the Bat Cave! Contrasting forms of the cactus make this an interesting gift for people who like something unusual. Bromeliads are very unique, exotic looking plants and are amazingly adaptable, tough and relatively easy to grow.
Behind the Scenes
Last Minute Watering Coldframes
With the weather staying warm it gives our staff a chance to do some last minute cleaning. As the poinsettias grow, the watering crew are working hard to keep up. These peonies will spend the winter in our coldframes-ready for next years' gardens.
