What's New
The week of October 15
Enjoying a Great Autumn
No it's not a huge pumpkin! It's actually a moderately sized Red Princess pumpkin on these great mini-bales. Looking for something different? Try one of our hand-painted pumpkins! A hot pink skull might not be for everyone, but if it's what you need, then Hole's is the place to find it!
This year we have a selection of Fall and Winter planters that will look good through the fall frosts and then provide some winter interest as we wait for spring. Since the weather seems to be holding, why not considers some of the gorgeous mums that are still available. For those who think they have a black thumb, why not consider one of these tiny succulent containers. I can tell you from personal experience they will still be thriving when all other plants have "faded."
Behind the Scenes
This week the poinsettias are really starting to colour up! Occasionally in the greenhouse you will find an solo plant tucked in amongst the other crops. Generally, as in the case of this fig, its an experiment of Jim's as he tests out both plants and processes... These various plants have been put aside to be overwintered. We are generally very selective in what we choose to overwinter to try and minimize the amount of space we need to keep heated.
Phalaenopsis Orchids
This week there is a stunning selection of easy-to-care-for Phalaenopsis orchids in our Indoor Plants area!
