Blooming Lucky Bean Plant Gorgeous Orchids
The Amaryllis are in full bloom this week. Visit our indoor plant department for an unbelievable selection. This lucky bean plant (with the beans protruding from the soil) makes an interesting conversation piece. The Paphiopedilum orchid is one of the best orchids for home growing and provide some of the orchid kingdom's longest-lasting and most exotic blooms.
Alpines Library of Books Gifts
Even this late in the year the alpines continue to bloom. This Draba mollissima is a perfect example of the hardiness and beauty of rock garden perennials. Next time your at Hole's make sure to visit our library of gardening books. A great way to dream of next years' garden. These beautiful glass plaques make a unique gift for the gardener on your list.
Behind the Scenes
Ongoing Inspection Perennials Christmas
The poinsettia crop continues to be inspected for any signs of bug problems. The crew tells me we're still bug free! This is where the perennials will spend their winter. Everything from peonies and irises to alpines and cactus. Our warehouse staff are busy getting the Christmas giftware ready for the shelves.
