What's New
The week of September 29
Turn over a new leaf
Mild temperatures are holding so there is still time to plant trees, shrubs and perennials. Many trees absolutely shine in the fall including ornamental crabapples. Harvest some of the rich colours of fall by bringing home some of these decorative gourds. Perfect for a table centrepiece. Or try these vibrant ornamental peppers which are bold and long lasting. Fall-themed, collapsible, waterproof boxes are ideal containers.
Captivating witches are here to get you into the Halloween spirit. For a spooktacular look check out our selection of decorations. No need to wait for Halloween, for a quick treat brew up some beverages.
Behind the Scenes
The plan is ready for a spectacular Halloween display. The fall transformation from nursery to pumpkin patch began Monday. Staff started by moving shrubs and trees out of the protective area of the nursery to make room for the pumpkin patch. Crops such as these daylilies are snuggling in for winter. They have been recently planted for sale next season.
