On the road...

Christmas is our busiest time for deliveries, as staff work many hours overtime to ensure all the orders are processed, wrapped and shipped in our 4 heated trucks to customers around the city.

Let it snow...

This past weekend was perfect for making snowmen here at the greenhouses, but if you missed your chance, there are still plenty of options in the Garden Centre.

Potting News

About 18 years ago Bill Hole looked at the German -made Mayer potting machines and while he was intrigued, decided against purchasing one. Every couple of years he would revisit the decision and this year, he finally said yes. This new Mayer potting machine will speed up planting with its automatic pot dispenser and take-off feeding straight onto our conveyor system.

A rare sight...

We increased our ratio of red to pink poinsettias from 80/20 to 70/30 this year and we are still running low on pinks and other colours. The trend seems to be moving away from the traditional red poinsettia!

Nuts!

How about a gift for our wild friends to help keep them warm and happy through the cold season! These christmas stars are designed to feed the birds and small animals in your backyard.

A little different

Indoor plants has some lovely colour combinations like these cyclamen and asparagus fern arrangements.

 Flower Boxes

These pressed flower, stained glass box and frame sets are a unique gift idea for those hard-to-buy-for friends.

On the road again!

Sometimes delivering plants takes a little bit more effort. These poinsettias are boxed and shrinkwrapped so they can be shipped via heated truck!

Too Cool

After the renovations to the offices last year we found ourselves short of cooler space. So now a corner of the shop is receiving a fresh coat of paint and some R40 insulation to become our new cooler space.
