In the show garden... There was a lot of worry about how the roses would weather the dry winter. As you can see the John Davis in the show garden came through with great colours.

Perennials The buds are out on the daylilies and the first blooms--like this 'Double River Wye' are beginning to show.

Herb Gardening Herbs don't have to be green! This 'Kent Beauty' oregano is both colourful and tasty. And be sure to check out Lois' Herbs and Edible Flowers book while you are at it
Time for Fruit There is a great sale on raspberries and some delicious fruit showing--who could think of a better combination.
Mallow The 'Zebrina' mallow is in full bloom and looking gorgeous.
Catch the Wave These easy-grow hanging baskets of pink and purple Wave petunias are guaranteed to add vibrant colour to any setting (and they 're on sale too)!
Behind the Scenes Take a wander through the show garden and you might catch a glimps of some of the rare and beautiful peonies planted there, like this stunning 'Bartzella'.
