The week beginning
July 30

Customers...

It's still flower season in the perennial department and this visiting bee was busy expressing his appreciation for the Campanula 'Samantha'

Colourful...

Who says hostas aren't showy? After all the rain, the show garden has a great display of hostas in full bloom including this 'Frances Williams' in the foreground and 'Golden Tiara' in the back.

 Indoor Colour

Mums provide a rainbow of colour and the indoor varieties are available now in the indoor plant glasshouse. Also check the front greenhouse if you are looking for some tough outdoor fall mums.

Ornate...

...benches not only provide a place to relax in your garden but these stone benches can also make a real statement about your personality.

Let the Games Begin

Thousands of plants are now making their way across the city to Commonwealth Stadium and other venues to provide Hole's contribution in beautifying the Worlds!

 Poinsettias

Most of the growing ranges are now full of poinsettias. Staff are hard at work pinching bracts in order to provide the best show of blooms come December.

Perennial Deals

Not everything is on sale but there are some great deals to search through in all the areas.

 Colour, Texture
and Shape

The nursery has a delightful display of shrubs designed to add interest to your garden. Pictured (front to back) are Wine and Roses Wiegela, Sutherland Elder, Harry Lauder's Walking Stick, Madonna Elder, Purpleleaf Sandcherry and Bailey's Compact Cranberry.

Tours

We still get requests for tours at this time of year. This group came up from Red Deer and got a tour of the growing ranges and gardens.
