The week beginning
June 25

In the show garden...

These 'Eight Ball' squash are part of the official AAS Display garden featuring award-winning bedding plants and vegetables from the past few years.

Thanks Teacher!

It is the last week of school and we have some great thank-you gifts for those hard-working teachers.

 Never too late...

...to start tomatoes. Especially if you are starting with 27 cm pots and these huge plants plants. There is still a great variety to choose from.

 Looney Statuary

The nursery has some great new garden statuary including Tweety, Bugs and more of the looney toons characters.

Colour!

The 'Lovely Ruffles' rose is set off perfectly by these 'Wine and Roses' weigela; there is still a great selection of both to choose from.

 Behind the Scenes

The last of the moss hanging baskets are being planted for the Games and the window boxes full of Wave petunias are growing quickly in the greenhouses.

 Crimson Pixie

These asiatic lilies are simply stunning en masse and are a great accent plant individually.

 Big Variety

If you want to start with well established plants, there are some huge hostas available including 'Elegans' (back) and 'Sum & Substance' (front).

 Herbs

Nothing is more pleasant than brushing your hands through the herbs as you try to choose between all the varieties, colours and tastes still available.

 The gift of giving

If you have a thank-you to say or just want to add some colour to a friend's life, flowers can say it best. our floral design experts have many pre-prepared bouquets available or will be happy to custom-make something just right for you!
