Award Winning

This weekend, Lois' Herbs and Edible Flowers book won the Book Publishers of Alberta Award for Best Illustration.

Congratulations to Akemi Matsubuchi and Donna McKinnon!

 Flowering Shrubs

The nursery is full of colour including these Golden lights azaleas and the rich purple of the Impeditum rhododendrons.

 Climbing Vines...

The clematis vines are in full bloom and selling fast. There is still a wide selection including Daniel Deronada (foreground) and the very popular Piilu (back).

Hanging Baskets

All the hanging baskets in the bedding plant area are really coming into their own. Just look at this mix of Gallery Snowfire geraniums and the new, sweetly scented 'Compact Innocence' vegetative nemesia.

 Shop by Mail

Our long distance customers are getting into the act too--we are now shipping (in the order they were received) all of our shop by mail orders.

 Getting ready for Mom!

For something different why not get mom something which will remind her of you for years to come. These Jean's Dilly dwarf spruce are a great gift idea!

Orchids

The is an absolutely gorgeous selection of orchids this week--perfect for beginners or collectors alike.

Behind the scenes...

Still 2 weeks to go before the long weekend and there are already holes appearing in the growing ranges...

Cool Colour

For something different try the vibrant colour of the Castle Series Feather Celosia, or the reds and greens of Japanese maples; and check out the unique Fountain Bamboo (in the background) while you are here.
